Boardoza DRV2605L Haptic Motor Driver Breakout Board
The Boardoza DRV2605L Haptic Driver Breakout Board is built around the Texas Instruments DRV2605L, an intelligent haptic motor driver designed specifically for ERM (Eccentric Rotating Mass) and LRA (Linear Resonant Actuator) vibration motors. Unlike basic on/off motor drivers, the DRV2605L features a built-in waveform library and smart-loop control engine that can generate advanced haptic effects such as clicks, double-clicks, ramps, buzz patterns, and audio-synchronized feedback. Unlike conventional motor drivers intended for DC or stepper motors, the DRV2605L is optimized for precise haptic control. It communicates through the I²C interface, allowing complex vibration effects to be configured, sequenced, and triggered directly from a microcontroller. This breakout board is ideal for wearable devices, game controllers, touch interfaces, mobile devices, assistive systems, and other applications that require high-quality haptic feedback.
