Boardoza ZMOD4510 Outdoor Air Quality Sensor Breakout Board
Boardoza ZMOD4510 is a high-precision digital gas sensor module. It is designed to monitor outdoor air quality, especially harmful gas pollutants. This board can selectively measure Nitrogen Dioxide (NO₂) and Ozone (O₃) concentrations in the air.
Use a 5V DC board supply so the onboard regulator can provide a regulated 3.3V sensor rail. Operation from a 3.3V board input is not specified here. However, thanks to the integrated logic level shifter, the communication lines (SDA, SCL) can safely talk directly with both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers (like Arduino, ESP32, STM32, Raspberry Pi, etc.) without any extra converter boards. It offers Air Quality Index (AQI) outputs that match international standards. This makes it a perfect solution for smart city projects, weather stations, and building automation systems.

Key Features
- Selective Gas Detection: Ability to separate and selectively measure Nitrogen Dioxide (NO₂) and Ozone (O₃) gases, which are the two main elements of outdoor air pollution.
- Standard AQI Output: Thanks to the sensor’s special odor and gas detection algorithms, the raw data changes directly into Air Quality Index (AQI) levels according to international standards.
- 5V Input & Internal Level Shifter: Full integration with older 5V systems and new generation development boards that use 3.3V signals, thanks to the stable 5V power input support and built-in level shifter.
- Ultra-Low Power Consumption: It offers a long battery life in portable systems and IoT nodes with its special "Ultra-Low Power" mode.
- Hardware Interrupt and Reset Lines: The INT and RST pins are open to use, so you can easily control the measurement cycles with your hardware.
