Boardoza FT232RNL USB to UART Breakout Board
Designed with the FT232RNL chip, this converter board enables high-speed and reliable data communication between a computer and UART-based systems over USB 2.0. Since the entire USB protocol is handled in hardware by the chip, no additional firmware programming is required. The integrated 3.3 V regulator, EEPROM, USB termination resistors, and clock generation minimize the need for external components. The board supports data rates from 300 bps to 3 Mbps at TTL level and provides TX/RX LED indicators for visual monitoring of data communication. With the onboard selector switch (SW1), the VCCIO voltage can be easily set to either 3.3 V or 5 V, allowing compatibility with logic levels ranging from 3.3 V to 5 V.
The drivers can be downloaded from FTDI’s official website: https://ftdichip.com/drivers/d2xx-drivers/.
