Boardoza TMAG5273A1QDBVR Three-Axis Magnetic Sensor Breakout Board

The Boardoza TMAG5273 Breakout Board is a low-power 3-axis linear Hall-effect magnetic sensor based on the Texas Instruments TMAG5273A1QDBVR. The sensor independently measures magnetic fields along the X, Y, and Z axes using integrated Hall elements and converts the measurements with an integrated 12-bit ADC. It also features an integrated temperature sensor, selectable magnetic ranges, configurable averaging, interrupt functionality, and a built-in CORDIC engine for angle calculation.

Communication is handled through an I²C interface, allowing easy integration with Ardunio and ESP development boards. The board includes an on-board LDO regulator. Its low-power operation and compact design make it suitable for joysticks, electronic locks, door and window sensors, magnetic proximity sensing, angular position detection, robotics, motor control, e-bikes, and other contactless position-sensing applications.

⚠️ Note: The TMAG5273 includes an integrated temperature sensor; however, the temperature reading should not be considered a precision ambient temperature measurement. Since the temperature sensor is integrated within the IC, the reported temperature may differ from the actual ambient temperature depending on board and operating conditions. For applications requiring accurate ambient temperature measurement, a dedicated temperature sensor is recommended.
