Boardoza STHS34PF80 Infrared Presence and Motion Sensor Breakout Board
The sensor board designed using the STHS34PF80 IC is a high-sensitivity infrared (IR) sensing solution developed for presence and motion detection applications. Operating within the 5 µm to 20 µm infrared wavelength range, the sensor provides reliable detection performance with an IR sensitivity of 2000 LSB/°C and 25 LSB rms noise (typical, AVG_TMOS = 32). It is capable of detecting stationary objects at distances of up to 4 meters within an 80° field of view and distinguishes between stationary and moving objects using its embedded smart detection algorithm. Featuring factory calibration, low power consumption, and support for both I²C and 3-wire SPI interfaces, the board provides a reliable and high-performance sensing solution for smart building systems, lighting control, industrial automation, and IoT applications.
