Boardoza OPT4060 RGBW Color Sensor Breakout Board
Boardoza OPT4060 is a fast and high-resolution RGBW color sensor based on the Texas Instruments OPT4060 IC. The sensor integrates four optical channels with engineered spectral responses. Three for red, green, and blue, and one for wideband (clear) channel. It is designed to deliver accurate measurements of both light intensity (lux) and color characteristics with an ADC of up to 20 Bits precision over the I²C communication bus.
Built with advanced filter technology, the OPT4060 achieves high spectral selectivity and excellent near-infrared (NIR) rejection at 850 nm and 940 nm, even at high angles of light incidence. This ensures precise color detection with minimal distortion from ambient IR sources. The boards low power consumption and small size makes it ideal for integration into smart, portable, or embedded systems.
