Boardoza MPL3115A2 Barometric Pressure and Temperature Sensor Breakout Board
The MPL3115A2 digital pressure and temperature sensor with a high-resolution 24-bit ADC, ideal for barometric and altimeter applications. It outputs accurate data over I²C and supports INT1/INT2 interrupts for event-based sensing.
The board accepts a 3.3 V to 5 V input at VIN. Its onboard TLV73333PDBVR LDO supplies the sensor from a nominal 3.3 V rail, while I²C level shifters interface to the VIN-side logic domain. The LDO output follows its dropout behavior at the low end of the input range. With low power consumption (\~40 µA), it’s perfect for drones, weather monitoring, and portable sensor applications.
