Boardoza IrDA Infrared Transceiver Breakout Board
Boardoza IrDA Transceiver is a compact communication module designed for high-reliability infrared wireless data exchange. It integrates a specialized infrared receiver with an internal demodulator alongside a discrete transmitter circuit powered by a dedicated infrared LED. By incorporating a purely hardware-driven indicator system for real-time monitoring of power, transmission, and reception status, this board ensures ease of diagnostic tracking for short-range data link applications. The board is compatible with both 3.3V and 5V supply levels. It is important to note that the board was designed to operate with digital signals up to 1250 bps at TXD input. Keeping TXD Pin High for longer periods may damage the board permanently.

Key Features
- The board has a 940 nm IR LED to send 38 kHz modulated IrDA message packets (Up to 10 Hz) from an external MCU board.
- The board features an internal circuit to strip the carrier frequency, providing a clean digital signal to the receiver side.
- Dedicated hardware LEDs provide instant feedback for Data Reception (D2) and Data Transmission (D3)
- Transmited data echo at receive output
- TXD warning: Designed for digital input signals up to 1250 bps; holding TXD HIGH for extended periods may permanently damage the board.
