Boardoza ESP8266 8-Channel Hybrid Wi-Fi Relay Breakout Board
The Boardoza ESP8266 Relay Board is a high-performance, network-connected load switching platform designed for versatile smart home and industrial IoT automation. Built around the ESP8266 wireless SoC (ESP-07S) with 2.4 GHz 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity, the board features a hybrid switching stage integrating four zero-cross solid-state relays (Panasonic AQH3213A) and four high-capacity electromechanical power relays (Panasonic ALQ105). The optically isolated SSR channels support up to 600V peak off-state voltage and 1.2A RMS with built-in RC snubbers for silent, wear-free, and sparkless AC load switching, while the SPDT mechanical relays switch heavier loads up to 10A at 125VAC or 5A at 250VAC / 30VDC using discrete MOSFET drivers and LED indicators. To ensure safe and standalone deployment directly from mains power without external adapters, the board integrates an isolated AC-DC power converter protected by an onboard fuse, line filter, and high-voltage varistor, backed by a local 3.3V LDO regulator rail to deliver a robust, all-in-one multi-channel control solution. The board is ideally suited for deployment across industrial automation, smart building infrastructure, commercial facility systems, agricultural automation, and remote energy management.

Key Features
- Hybrid 8-Channel Load Control: Combines four optically isolated zero-cross solid-state relays (AQH3213A) and four high-capacity SPDT mechanical power relays (ALQ105) on a single board.
- Silent & Sparkless AC Switching: Solid-state relay channels feature integrated RC snubber networks for wear-free, noise-free, and high-frequency AC load control.
- Discrete MOSFET Driver Stage: Mechanical relays are driven by discrete MOSFETs and equipped with freewheeling flyback protection diodes alongside dedicated orange status LEDs.
- Integrated Mains AC-DC Power Supply: Onboard power converter delivers self-contained power directly from AC mains lines without external wall adapters.
- Comprehensive Electrical Protection: AC power input is protected by an onboard 1A fuse, a common-mode line filter, and a high-voltage metal oxide varistor (MOV) for robust transient suppression.
- Wi-Fi Connectivity: Powered by an ESP8266 SoC (ESP-07S) with 2.4 GHz 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi support and an onboard IPEX (U.FL) connector for external antenna integration.
