Boardoza BS801C Capacitive Touch Sensor Breakout Board
The Boardoza BS801C is a compact capacitive touch sensor module based on the BS801 chip, designed for touch and proximity detection in embedded applications. It is well suited for consumer electronics, smart appliances, industrial control panels, and DIY projects where mechanical buttons are replaced with modern capacitive touch interfaces. The module supports both 3.3 V and 5 V logic levels and provides a digital output that toggles when a touch is detected. Its sensitivity can be adjusted by changing the capacitance connected to the CS1 pin, allowing it to be adapted to different surface materials and environmental conditions.

Key Features
- Capacitive Touch Sensing: Detects touch via changes in capacitance when a finger approaches or contacts the sensor surface.
- Digital Output Interface: Provides a clear high/low signal upon touch detection for direct connection to MCUs.
- Integrated Noise Filtering: On-chip signal processing ensures stable and reliable output even in noisy environments.
- Adjustable Sensitivity: Default 1pF capacitor onboard; user can solder an additional 0–9pF capacitor to CS1 (0pF to 10pF total) to fine-tune sensitivity.
- Reliable & Durable: Offers solid-state reliability with no moving parts, ideal for long-term deployment.
